Jun. Prof. Dr. Anne Böckler-Raettig
is currently at the Institute of Psychology with a focus on psychological methods and cognition Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg employed. After studying psychology in Berlin and Glasgow, she completed her doctorate in social cognition in Nijmegen (Netherlands) and spent time at the Princeton University researched. As a research assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, she then examined the effects of meditation on attention, social understanding and prosocial behavior.
Her research interests lie in the following areas:
- Social cognition: eye processing, empathy, perspective taking, theory of mind
- Social interaction: Prosocial behavior, social exclusion

Jürgen Manshardt
Born in 1960, has studied and practiced Buddhism since 1979, including seven years as a monk. He is a translator and editor of Buddhist books. He also works as an interpreter, seminar leader and author. He is also a Gestalt therapist and led a child care project in a Tibetan children's village in India. He lives in Berlin with his wife and son. He played a key role in the redesign of the systematic study of Buddhism and the creation of the study documents Tibetischen Zentrum, Hamburg, contributed.
He also works on the conception of wisdom training in the "Netzwerk Ethik heute" mit und leitet dort auch Workshops. Außerdem ist an verschiedenen Instituten und Einrichtungen als Dozent aktiv.
