Who is mindDIVING for?

mindDIVING is for anyone who is interested in living less stress and wants to experience more joy in life. For this purpose, various learning programs are being developed, some of which will bring you closer to the topic in a playful way.

Which competencies come together at mindDIVING?

mindDIVING is a non-profit project that translates Buddhist and neuroscientific findings and methods into practical learning programs for everyone.

The central idea of mindDIVING is to practice awareness and carry out mindful actions based on Buddhist teachings in order to lay the foundation for future happiness.

A source of happiness that has been somewhat forgotten in our materialistic society is the happiness that we feel when we reach out to others with an open heart:

"The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater our own sense of well-being becomes. Cultivating a close, warm-hearted feeling for others automatically puts the mind at ease"
XIV. Dalai Lama

Thanks to neuroscientific research over the last few decades, it is now known that the brain has the ability - neuroplasticity - to practice the mental attitude required for this.

How did mindDIVING come about?

The project was founded in 2017 by Mark K. Bose, civil engineer (RWTH) and real estate economist (ebs).

His early interest in Buddhism as a youth was rekindled in 2004 as a survivor of the tsunami in Sri Lanka and led to the renowned “Systematic Study of Buddhism” in 2013 Tibetischen Zentrum e.V. in Hamburg, which he successfully completed after 4 years in 2016.

A 10-day instruction H.H. of the Dalai Lama in the monastery complex of Sera Jey in winter 2014, ultimately inspired him to combine his experience from developing digital solutions with his Buddhist neuroscientific knowledge and found the mindDIVING Academy

During his participation at the European Summer Research Institute Mind & Life Instituts Europa in 2016 he expanded his view to contemplative neuroscience and learned that it confirmed the teachings of Buddhism in numerous studies.
